Patrick Mulligan’s expertise in post-conviction litigation is featured in a new article in the 2018 edition of Colorado Super Lawyers magazine. In the article, entitled “Third Time’s the Charm,” Patrick explains the complex area of post-conviction litigation, including claims of ineffective assistance of counsel. The article includes reference to Patrick’s observation that, in order to succeed in post-conviction litigation, a lawyer must have all of the skills of a trial lawyer, and those of an appellate lawyer. Finally, the article describes some of Patrick’s experiences in complex post-conviction litigation, including numerous homicide cases. A link to the article is included below.
